It can be, with a funny template. Case in point, yours is funny because I've never seen that cat before nor that template. The TomCat reading a paper in the chair is over done...

I use this template a lot, although I do agree with you. Things get old pretty quickly and when you hear a joke once it seldom becomes funnier the second time around :)
