I understand where you're coming from but the term used enforcing a law on an action previously not covered commonly used is retrospective.

That is the definition of retroactive.

As I said, I under where you are coming from but that is not the term they use.

This meme is about a dangerous ideal called Religious Freedom in Australia where the Government wishes to exempt religious people from all anti-discrimination laws which would permit a religious employer to refuse to employ someone for being female, lgbtqi, disabled, etc. Religion is parasitic. The best thing organised religion can do is f**k off and die.
