I think people need to have at least a little in common to get along. Although, not everything. I'd find it pretty boring to be with someone who liked everything I liked.

I think they do initially, but I’m not sure that they stand the test of time. My opinion is that those couples who are opposites that DO stay together for many years are actively “working” at it. They’re putting forth the extra effort to make it work because they feel it’s worth it. :-)

My wife and I are total opposites! The Chinese horoscope says the dog and dragon are enemies.😆. We’ve been married for going on 12 years now! 😃👍

Not really, We’re just one test subject. But I’m of the belief that it makes more of a complete union. What one doesn’t have, the other has. Where one is weak, the other is strong. Where one is funny, the other, not so much. 😆 Like a yin and yang kinda thing. Yeah, it’s not always easy and we sometimes bump heads, but love overcomes all. I found that, for me, it’s better than being with someone exactly like you. That gets boring real quick. But, like I said, that’s just me. Or I should say us. Everyone is different...
