my dad used to bring guns to school during hunting season in the 1950's, and so did many of his friends.. no shootings then.

Where do I state "causation?" I'm presenting a fact...you can accept the fact or move on. To find truth...we need to see "all the facts." This is one of many. When the facts up, then we can have a real discussion about causation. However...if you ignore or denounce every "fact" that comes your way...you will never find truth. All Schools shooters (100%) suffered from mental health issues. Do you not think we should look into a mental health connection? People are dying...be a part of the solution...not the problem.

Honestly...the last thing I expected was that anyone would dispute this. It was meant to educate. Had no idea anyone would find it controversial or anything. Genuinely shocked.

It's extremely creepy because I'm pointing out how mental health availability in the US has be decimated...and you're first reaction is to dismiss it. Mass shooting is a tiny part of the issue as well. We have schizophrenics, PTSD sufferers, etc...living on the street. Even people going through a life crisis has nowhere to turn if they don't have money or insurance (which is most people. And you're like... meh, "correlation does not imply causation." That's kind of heartless, cold, it's kinda evil.

How many of those people carried out school shootings? What is wrong with you? How would anyone be able to answer such a ridiculous question??? Stop trying to "score points for your ego" and do something good in your life. It's about not having a place for people to go get help. We don't commit people the way we used to...because we have no place to keep them. This conversation with you is disturbing.
