I was thinking some memes can get like 12,000 views but no upvotes so the reason could be it really is that bad but a couple points might boost morale.

Well let's take the 12,000 views at .25 pts that's 3,000 points or the equivalent of 75 upvotes. That's pretty generous for a meme that no one wanted to upvote.
