Inconvenient This

Inconvenient This | Global warming was first identified in the 1800's. At that time, C02 was 290ppm. The population was approximately 1.5 billion people. Today, the population is 7.7 billion and C02 is 407ppm. The average temperature of the Earth was 13.7 degrees from about 1850 to 1900. Today, the average temperature is 14.7 degrees. That's a 150 years later and 6 billion more people. In 150 years, we have had record heat waves, cold spells and more record heat waves. Scientists can't agree on whether it's Earth's natural cycle, volcanoes, methane or us. Science does tell us an extra 6 billion people contributed 100ppm of C02 to the atmosphere and a 1 degree change in temperature. You should do some research on the USCRN (US Climate Reference Network), which was built by NOAA to consistently collect accurate and untainted data, unlike the existing system the climate change proponents have been using for decades.

Guess what they found! The temperature has been stable for the entire 14 years it's been in operation.

It turns out, painting weather stations dark colors, installing them on asphalt parking lots, and installing them near air conditioner radiators and industrial facilities tends to raise the temperatures.

And, I'm pretty sure the methods to detect and quantify CO2 has changed and become more accurate in 150 years. A good rule to follow when performing calculations on time series data - make sure it's collected in the same way throughout the entire time period, otherwise your results may be skewed due to inconsistent data, or as a result of combining two datasets with different baselines.

Believe it or not, the meme was designed to get people asking the question - 1 degree in a 150 years? That relates to an apocalypse?

My point being - an extra 6 billion with consumption at an all time high and the best we can muster is 1 degree of change in essentially that last 40 years. We're letting a emotional 16 year old rid us of critical thought.

I can accept that. Your meme was word rich, detecting intent was difficult at best. My comment should serve as more fuel for the fire then :)

Can't deny we need less people in the world.
