DEAR LORD, Before I sit down for this week’s game,
I had a few thoughts that I want to proclaim.
I want to thank you, Lord, for our new D-line.
It sounds like it is going to be even better than fine.
When it comes to quarterbacks with lots of hustle,
you smiled down and gave us Russell.
In the linebackers room we’ve got great riches,
with Bobby and KJ wide receivers wet their britches.
Back when our O-line had us feeling down,
you reached out and sent Duane Brown.
Our fifth-round punter was no blunder,
to get us one of the best You had to look down under.
And though we may be missing Dougie,
I’m excited for DK, a promising rookie.
For Pete and John I cannot decide,
without which one it would be hardest to abide.
I thank you dear Lord, for all these and more,
