Nope. Once you've registered, the Election Commission either gives it to you (if you registered in person) or sends it to you in the mail for free. You're probably thinking about the old Poll Tax, which was outlawed decades ago.

harvard actually did a study to find out if they were free and found that they werent technically free. one must understand that in a capitalist country like america, theres always going to be rich elitists with different ideas about how this country should be run (making them money and no one else) from that of the public. rich people will never stop trying to circumvent our rights, and the most powerful right we have is the vote. the solution to the fake votes thing creates a bigger problem
