you were the one that got me into them in fact. i had heard all the songs on the radio and i never listened to them. it wasn't that i dislike them but they were always background noise. i can't remember why but you had mentioned candy-o and i gave it a listen. that was the first time i listened to the cars after years of hearing them.
a few weeks before ocasek died i got the chance to fill in for a bass player friend of mine and we did candy-o.. dedicated to andrew.
