"Who... who are you?" I ask in a weak voice, after being stabbed

A small boy that looks about 12-13ish stands in front of you.He is outlined in crimson red.He laughed maniacally,"Ima be the one that guides you to hell!"he said, psychotic laughter sprinkled in-between the sentance.Then a blue one apperaed,he looked almost exactly like the red one, only he was blue."Do not be afraid"he said angelicly,"for the road to heaven is not hard."he said, smiling.Then a purple one appeared, identical to the other two."Imbecilles.'he mutters,"Were not supposed to appear until later..."he says, then looking at you,"Well,you seem to be pretty far along.Are you ready?"

"Ready? Ready for what?" I ask nervously

he purple one looked at you,"To move on to-"only to be cut off by the red one,"Ready to go to hell of course!"he says, still laughing manicly.

I looked confused. "Hell? What're you talking about? Can't you help me?" i say as I cover my wound while cursing under my breath

"Hell? What are you talking about?" I asked as I covered my wound, and cursed under my breath

The purple one looked pitiful,"Unfortunently....no.Were not allowed to involve ourselfs in these affairs.We only judge and guide"he said, pulling out a book."Well....you dont seem to sinful...."he said, flipping through pages."Well,im getting ahead of myself...."he trailed off."we can end this now, if you take my hand"he said holding it out,"Or,we can wait."he said."Choose whatever you want.If you wait, you can say last words, regrets and such."

"Regrets? Last words? Are you.... saying that I'm dying?" I asked with terror

All three of them nodded."Correct."the purple one said."I am the one who judges..."The red one cut in,"Im the one who severs your soul!"He said, laughing.While the blue one continued."And I guide you to the afterlife."

The red one laughed harder, falling down on his back, laughing maniacally,"yeah, i didnt either!"Hitting the ground with his fist.The blue one walked twords you,"Here,lay down.It makes things easier."

"N-no, get away from me!" I screamed. I stood up slowly to my feet, cursing under my breath some more. "Don't come near me, all three of you!" I say angrily, scared, and confused

The purple one looked annoyed,the red one laughed even harder,and the blue one looked sad that Andrew backed away from him.The red one laughed uncontrolably,"Its gonna hurt more when I tear away your soul if you fight it!"he laughed,mking the purple one glare at him."Oi!We dont talk about the process!"

I looked at them, and then started running away from them, scared shitless. "Damn it..." I kept saying while struggling to run away

The red one appered in front of Andrew,"I wouldnt do that.We can follow a dying soul A N Y W H E R E"he laughed again.

I started running even faster. I was terrified, and tried my best to run away

The purple one took hold of his wrist,almost like he was actually real,preventing him from moving any farther."Stop."he said,glaring."Youre doing nothing but making your wounds worse."

"Let go of me, you sick freak! You and your buddies!" I scream angrily

His eyes flashed with anger,"I am not a sick freak,and let me tell you that Ive been pretty pateint,but youre being annoying,and I have half a brain to just sever your soul myself!"he said,growling."And those two are my brothers,so you will *respect* them,understand?!"When he was done,the red and blue ones stared in awe,the red one whispering,"He..he made Murasaki get mad.Murasaki never gets mad."to the blue one.

"Get away from me!" I screamed as my eyes glowed red. Some of the things around us shifted back forcefully. Even pushing back Murasaki back a little

The red one looked at Andrew with awe,"Wow!I cant wait to kill you!"he laughed,and the blue one looked at the red one with distaste.Murasaki looked back at Andrew."You cant scare me with that.Im already dead."he looked at the ground,as if remembering his old life with his two other brothers.Then he turned back,watching the blood pool."Though,answer me this.Do you feel...weaker,with your loss of blood?"

". . ." I look at them all. Then, I sit down on the ground, and then lie down, looking at the stars in the sky. "Am I really going to die?" I asked

Murasaki nodded sadly,when the blue one jumped forward,"how about a deal?"making Murasaki push him back,"No,Ao {pronounced Ah-Oh},we cant involve ourselfs-"The red one layed down next to Andrew,"Eh,why not?Hes a bit early,according to your book,right?"he said,pointing at Murasaki.Making Murasaki shake his head."No.No deals.No second leases."he said,shaking his head.But the red one turned around,so he was laying on his stomach,while still laying next to Andrew."So?What do you want?"making Murasaki stomp his foot,"Aka no!Does *anyone* listen to me?!"he looked up then sighed,then turned to Andrew."Well?"

I continue to look at the stars while covering my wound. "I... I want to sit here for a couple of minutes. Wonder a bit... wait, did someone say something about a deal?" ((Also, it's cool how you're using Japanese names for the brothers. I like it.))

Muasaki nodded,now standing directly over him."Yes...are you....intrested?"

"I don't know... maybe. What's the deal?" I ask, not looking at them

Murasaki avoided eye contact as well,instead flipping through the book he held.Instead,Ao spoke up."We can extend your life,make the pain go away...almost like of never happened."he said,laying head by head,north of Andrew.Then Aka spoke up,"But...well,we can discuss the terms and conditions if you like what we can do for you"he said,for the first time without manicly laughing in the whole encounter.

"And what do I do in return to pay you back? My memory? Soul?" I say as I continue to cover my wound

Murasaki sighed, turning to look at Andrew."Any other questions?I you do want to make this deal, we have to do it before you die."

". . ." I looked at them all, then at the ground, and then at them again. "Fine..."

Meanwhile the triplets walked around, discussing the deal as well."So he has to find his soul match, sever a soul, and reunite the broken souls?"Ao asked Murasaki,making sure he had the details right.He nodded,"he has three weeks, thats enough time,isint it?"Aka shrugged,"Who the hell knows.Hes not normal, so that might hinder him in unexpected ways."Murasaki lglared at him,"His abilities may be....abnormal,but his soul is not!Did you see the color of it?Blue-Violet!That means hes smart, intuitive..."he continued to list off the rest of the soul traits,"Arg,whatever!"Aka yelled outcrossing his arms and looking away.Making Ao speak up,"I dont think he likes all the conditions...."he paused."I really dont think he wants to kill anyone...."he trailed off."Oh,he'll manage."Aka said, waving his hand dissmisivly."If he does our two conditions"Murasaki spoke up, gesturing to Ao and himself."Hell have two people debating for him to live."Ao winced,"I dont think a million people can convince Aka not to kill someone if hes able to have an opinion..."Aka shrugged,"Probably not.Actually...make that a complete and total no."Murasaki sighed."Can his soul even handle it?Most are unable to handle murder...that takes a special soul."Aka looked annoyed,"Why do you think I made an offer to him?Id totally be down to kill someone, all he has to do is say the word."Murasaki shook his head,"Thats not the point Aka.Their blood is still on his hands, he is technically responsible for the death."they walked in silence for a bit, before Ao spoke,"the sun is starting to rise..."he said, looking at his brothers.Murasaki nodded,"Lets go find him then, we're technically late."he said, walking with Aka and Ao following."Lets just hope he finds the will to take a life."he said.

I checked out of the hospital, since the wounds were apparently not too severe. I a seat on a bench which was close to the hospital. After looking around, I asked "What the hell have I done..." I took a cigar out my pocket and lighted it.

Murasaki shrugged."I dont know.I mean....we dont know where our bodies are...."he said, closing his eyes."After you die, there a 'black-out' period where you dont know what happened."he said, thinking."We could've been moved, or maybe not.We will help you out as much as we can though."

"Hmm..." I thought to myself for a second, before looking at them all. "Do you remember your school?"

Aka smiled,and stood up."Well,first let us introduce ourselfs."he said,pacing."Im Akaikiku,or well,its 'red crysanthumum'if youre too dumb to translate yourself."The blue one spoke up.'"Im Aoikiku,or,blue crysanthumum,but,you can just call me Ao.And you can call my older brother Aka."Murasaki spoke up."Murasakiikiku.Purple crysanthumum.Just call me Murasaki."he said,opening the book to the last page and ripping it out,now...for the terms...."You have to do 3 things,but only one is truly mandatory."He cleared his throat,"What we mean is,you have to do 3 things,but,if you run out of time,if youve completed the last condition,we can discuss terms"He crouched down,and held out his hand to Andrew,"Complete 3 conditions..and you can live"he smiled.Aka jumped in first."Shatter a soul..."and Ao jumped in,"Reunite with you soul match..."and Murasaki jumped in,"And...reunite the broken souls"They all stood in silence."Any questions?Anything from our names to the conditions?"They all asked in unison.

"Shatter a soul? You want me to... hurt somebody?" I ask in confusion

He shrugged,then Murasaki spoke up."Over here."he said, leaning against the wall, next to him was Ao,who looked confused."Smokings bad for you..."he said.

"Yes, well it calms me down sometimes." I said as I puffed and got up

Murasaki snorted."So youre shortening the life-span you almost dont have?Thats smart."

"Tell me about it," I said as I finished my cigar, and brushed myself off. "So... *Sigh* how much do I have again?"

Aka shook his head,"We have...options,though,we can say that youll still be yourself by the end of it."

"How long will you stretch my life for?" I asked

"Hmmm..."Aka wondered,"It depends on how old you are,but for you,I would say..."he did mental math,"another 60 years or so."

"He he he..." I laugh a bit "Life's funny... first, it stabs you in the back, then offers you more when you're already down..."

Aka made a scowl-ish face."Hmph.Guess youre just...fortunate."making Murasaki mutter."Only if your two brothers are idiodic."he shook his head."Would you like to hear the terms?"

"Sure... lay it on me..."

Aka somehow appeared in front of him, hanging upside down on a wood beam that just so happened to be around, his face inches away from Andrews."Boo."he said, monotone.

I turn toward him. "Ooh, I'm so scared." I said sarcastically. "Where are the others?"

Aka crossed his arms and turned away."Well,it *was* that before but...well we determined that most human souls would shatter themselves if forced to kill."He turned to face Andrew."So,Ill do for you."

"What, no... what?" I sit up a bit, looking at them

Aka looked down at him."Would you like to kill someone yourself then?"making Murasaki clear his throat,"Like I said,only one is truly mandatory...the other confitions just make better reasons"

"I don't... I don't wanna kill anybody..." i looked at him. "What... what the hell is wrong with you?"

He started laughing,even going as far to fall back onto the floor.Murasaki and Ao went next to Andrew."Hes our brother...but he wasnt with us when he died..."Ao trailed off."A few months before he died,some people kidnapped him...they...tourtured him way past his breaking point before they finally killed him."Murasaki explained."Death left him....quite unstable.Now his few thoughts are consumed by death."

"Jesus... reminds me of..." I said thinking

Mura saki stood up."Do you want to make the deal?"

". . ." I stood up, and looked him in the eye. "Yes. I want to make the deal..."

Murasaki smiled,almost looking evil.He tore out a page from his book,and Ao got closer.
Murasaki handed the page to Andrew.on it was a contract.It read,

I,Ander Foster, have agreed to an extension of my life, which will be fulfilled if the requirements are met.I am aware of the requirements, and am okay with them.

Failiure to complete all three within 28 days will result in an discussion between the soul reapers, Akaikiku, Murasakiikiku and Aoikiku.The ones with completed challenges will fight for you to live, and the ones that you failed to complete will fight for you to die.

The soul reapers will provide help with the conditions, and,at least one will be present at all times.They will provide hints and fight for you, and will go as far as you say to help you.

Murasaki looked at the contract."Your signature will be needed after we do this."he said, putting it away."Oi!Aka!"he yelled, who was still laughing on the floor."Get over here!"He slowly stopped and walked over to Andrew.Murasaki looked Andrew dead in the eyes."We...only do half of what were about to do to you on a usual basis.The other half we've never done before...but we do know what were doing.We also need you to trust us."he said,"If you dont,and you fight us while we do it, we may sever your soul on accident."he said, dead serious.He then stood back."Go ahead Aka.Try to not mutilate him."He said, making Aka jump forward holding a knife with an eerie glow."You ready?"he giggled, but without waiting for an answer, her plunged the knife into Andrews stomach, moving the blade up and through his chest, making a Y shape.There were no external wounds, but there was unbearable pain.Taking out the knife, it now had a Blue-Violet tint to it."Thats your soul."he said, handing the knife to Ao,who had made a feather quill pen out of air.He took a fragment of to and then handed the knife to Murasaki.He Took it,impaling his palm with it.he then pressed his hand to Andrews chest,and the pain from Aka stabbing him flowed away."Your soul is now re-attached to you."he said.

I coughed blood at first, but then stopped. I looked at the three of them, and then at the quill pen. I slowly and carefully take it, and starts signing it

Murasaki looked at the coughed up blood, fixated on it."You might still feel the affects of blood loss for a bit,and you still might bleed out."he trailed off,"We should avoid that.You wont die, of course, but its still a situation we desire to avoid."he said looking off into the distance,then walking away and taking the now-signed contract.Aka looked off in the distance."Yeah.Go to a hospital or something."he said, walking off, following Murasaki.Ao looked down then at Andrew."We'll be back by morning at latest, which isn't to far off, now that I think about it."he said, looking at the horizon.

I looked at them, then looked at myself. I looked around for a hospital, and just started walking. "What have I done, what have I done, what have I done, what have I done," I kept saying while panicking. "I can't kill people! It's not what I do... but... i wanted to live... oh, I'm so selfish..."

Aka shrugged."Like we said it depends, but we'll give you bout 60 more years."

"So..." I started, "Kill three people?" I was not very happy with the decision I made

Ao shook his head,"We never said that!"he said, sounding panicked.Murasaki spoke up."Thats just Aka.You only have to kill one person to pass for him.I want you to find our bodies."

"Alright... Any hints? Or am I just gonna have to find them without a clue?"

"Whats school?"The tree asked at the same time.

"Didn't you go to school before you died?" I asked them

Aka shook his head."No?"Ao chimed in."No,I dont think we did."Murasaki agreed."Yeah...we didnt do that, we had to stay home.We learned how to read and write, and math, but we learned that ourselves."

"Do you at least remember where you lived?" I asked while sitting down. Then, a young lady walks by and asks "Um, mister? Who are you talking to?" I was confused

Murasaki choked.Aka burst into laughter, and Ao panicked."Nobody else can see us!"they yelled at the same time."We forgot to tell you that!"they panicked."nononono"Murasaki panicked, not wanting Andrew to seem insane.

"Umm... them? Can't you see them?" he asked the lady. She looked at me like I'm crazy, and then kept walking.

The triplets calmed a bit downwind Murasaki spoke up."Nobody else can see us, just you."

I looked at them and then at them. "Um... so... do you remember where you lived?" I asked them as I stood up

Murasaki nodded."Yeah,its a pretty small town, or well I guess its technically a village."he said, and Ao continued."We haven't been there since we died."Aka shrugged."Everybody moves away before they die, but we still know the way."

"Is it far?" I asked as I brushed myself off. "Do we need to dribve there?

Aka shrugged."If you can drive across wate-"making Murasai hit him.Ao spoke up."No...it in another country, we lived in Japan."Murasaki was still hitting Aka when he spoke up."If you want, we can get you free airline tickets."

"Alright... Sure." I said as I started walking. "I'll go get my stuff from my house..."

Murasaki shrugged."Yeah,go ahead and do that."he said."Well stay here..."he said, walking off, making Aka speak up."and by that we mean we will go send more souls to the afterlife."Ao walked of."Just come back here when youre ready."

I walked off and came to my house. "Some hours ago I was stabbed and almost died. Now, I'm going to have to fly to Japan, find three dead bodies, then kill a person so they can fight for the extension of my life. This is so crazy..." I said as I packed a small suitcase, and locked the door to my house completely.

he three walked around, doing their job, when Murasaki looked up."We haven't told him Ao's challenge yet-"Ao shrugged."I'll tell him later then."he said, looking down the street."Well...lets go,I think hes ready."

I come back with a small suitcase, and also a man's handbag around me. "Alright... I'm ready..." I say

Ao smiled,"Great!"he said, walking to an airport."Lets go!"he said, walking off,Aka following him."You nervous?"Murasaki asked as they walked.

"Yes, I am. Very. But... aren't we going to take the car?" I asked as i was walking

Murasaki shrugged,"If you want, I mean, theres no real need to do that." he said, walking on. Meanwhile Aka seemed bothered by something, rubbing his hands. He looked up, "theres an earthquake. Bad one too." He said, looking at Andrew, making Ao jump."I thought it was just me." he said, running off. "Theres gonna be a tsunami too." he said, and Murasai rubbed his throat like it was sore. "Guys, we're in America. Calm dow. A flight to Japan takes 12 hours. It'll pass by then." he said, looking back at Andrew. "We can walk there, an airport is close by." he said, coughing and holding his throat.

I looked at Aka with concern. Then, I started walking towards the airport with the brothers. "Tell me, do you remember which city you lived in? Your block, street, house number? Do even know if your parents are there?"

Mursaki laughed,"We died 12,000 years ago!"he said, laughing."If their still alive well I'll be damned!"he said, laughing harder, like Aka would.Ao spoke up."Dont worry about it.We lived in a very small place.I doubt its been urbanized the last few years."Aka looked at Andrew,"Besides, not many places you could hide a body!"he laughed.Murasaki walked on."Anyways, about our bodies, here some things to know. 1. bodies with lost souls dont decompose.So they'll look fresh as if we died a second ago. 2. To consider all of them found, they all have to at least be in the same room. 3. given its a small place, we might be able to give you hints about where our bodies are, because of the black out period, we're as clueless as you."

"All right..." I say as we finally reach the airport

Murasaki walked on, looking at all the flights.Leading the way,Ao walked next to Andrew."Look, ima tell you what to say."he said, but before Andrew could say anything, he looked on,"And dont talk to us in public, unless you want to go to a mental facility."he said walking forward.Aka spoke up,"So, heres what you're gonna do.You line up, you say nothing but look at the ground.Only say something if Ao tells you to.Got it?SAY NOTHING."he said, and murasaki grabbed Andrews hand."Flight.Right now.Hurry.Run."he said, running with Andrew.

I started running when Murasaki grabbed me. I followed him until we went to the security check.

Murasaki pulled him through."Dont stop."he said, running past,Aka and Ao stayed a few feet behind, doing something as they ran to keep up with Murasaki.

I kept following, hoping Murasaki knew what he was doing. I started to think back on why I did this in the first place...

Murasaki ran into a crowd of people, pulling Andrews head down."Shut up and pretend your supposed to be here.If anyone talks to you, just keep your head down and keep walking."

I nod and keep walking. It is really hard, because people are constantly asking me something, and I want to answer, but I don't

Aka seemed to be distracted, waving his hands only to be disappointed.He muttered something, and Ao shook his head to, looking sad, but then he shrugged.Murasaki dragged him to a flight to Japan that was already boarding.He looked at Andrew."Look, this might not work, but you need to trust us."he said, pushing Andrew along,"Just get in the plane, I checked the seating lit, and its not even half-full."he said, making him go inside."Just sit down, shut up and if someone says your in their seat, just nod and get up, okay?"

He nodded and sat down in the seat, making sure it's on the outside so he can get out at any time.

Ao shrugged, "You just need to find your soul match. Thats it, you dont have to get with them, if you find them, I will consider it completed."

Aka, Ao and Murasaki started to pace around in circles, not because their worried, but because they arent used to standing still.Murasaki laughed, "I didnt think that'd work as well as it did!"he said, Aka pacing,"So, your gonna have to walk a bit, when we end, so be ready for that."Ao looked at him,"And try not to talk or react to us when your in public, unless you can find a way that dosnt look too weird."

I nodded, looking at the screen the plane tv

Murasaki nodded,"Good, so we should- hrk!"he said, doubling down to his knees, making a gagging/choking sound. "Hrugh!"he said, trying to breathe.

I look confused, "What's happening to you?" I whisper, making sure nobody's looking

He made another gagging sound,"Th...the...hrk!W...win.....n..not..going....away...!"he said, now on his back.Aka and ao were trying to help him by being next to him,"S...stuck....!"he said, looking at Andrew,"I cant...die...again....i..ignore...me..."

"Are you sure? Do you need help?"

Aka shook his head,"No, Sherlock, hes doing just fine."he said, sarcastic.Ao shrugged,"Well, I mean, if theres nothing we can do, theres nothing you can do..."Murasaki stood up,coughing. "its fine, it passed."he coughed more, looking a Andrew."Look, we're gonna go to Japan, find our bodies, *maybe* tell Aka to kill someone, and do whatever the hell Ao wants you to do."he said, waving his hand.

He nodded a tiny bit, before continuing to watch his tv, but still in a bit of stress

Ao noticed him.Sitting down next to him, he watched along with Andrew, before losing interest and looking Andrew again."you nervous?"he asked.

He nodded, and drank some water

Ao looked at him, putting a pencil and a notepad in front of him,"You wanna talk or well, write about it?"he sat back,"Hehe...Im used to comforting spirits on the way to the afterlife.Not like this."he laughed.

He didn't react. He just took the pencil and the paper, and wrote, "What do I need to do for you?"

Ao looked at him,"Find your soul match!"
