Maybe you (and other mentally stable people) don't care about being ignored, but these people on the internet pushing their delusional ideologies do care and it bothers them when someone ignores them to the point where they will make an alternate account just to get a response! I have dealt with at least two people on this site who have made alts just to get me to respond to them.
When I use what is known in sociology as "socially acceptable coercive devices" it gets at some of them worse than any trolling possible could.
You are absolutely right. I am so insecure about myself that I care what total strangers on the internet, some of whom are absolutely delusional, think and say about my anonymous online persona. I am so glad I could finally get this off of my chest!
TLDR and I'll never read anything you post more than a sentence long; I prefer to waste my time on the internets being entertained not to entertain delusions
