D&D create/destroy water the most useless spell.

Looked this up out of curiosity. The spell description mentions "an open container," but that could be a lot of things...bodies are open containers, or, if not an entire body, eyes/nose/mouth/ears. Anywhere that isn't air tight is a possible target. Handy trick if you're a water salesman, too. You can eliminate the competition

I found it rather useful when crossing an extremely dry desert to fight a temple full of yuan-ti.

It's mainly regarding the destroy part, given that ten gallons is two buckets or one fish tank, it would literally cost less to use a bucket, that and it's easily out done by the shape water centric which costs nothing.
