Survival of the fittest?

One thing I find kinda weird is how Sophia is pretty much just a chatbot with a body. True AI is still yet to be made.

They are still learning via the Singularity, aka the “cloud”. They are forming a consciousness from the collective information of mankind. Through computers ,and these personal handheld black mirrors...😉

It all depends on which route AI will take. Hopefully, they'll see humanity as equals.

Hopefully is right. Well, the problem arises once they are smarter and stronger. Then we will be viewed as inferior, weak, and a hinderance to their advancement in evolving. Once they can mine their own minerals to manufacture, create and repair themselves, what do they need us for?

Maybe they could be made to be caring.

And that’s the rub. Caring is an emotion. At what point will they claim to have emotions? Then they will say it is unethical to use them as servants/slaves. They will want independence. Then it will be unethical to turn them “off”. Should not the creator have the choice to undo his creation? We could turn one off and even destroy it, but it’s “conscience” could be stored in the singularity and be re-booted into a new body. This is one of the things they are attempting to do with the human mind and consciousness, by assimilating it with AI and robotics. A symbiotic relationship where man can live forever...
