I ALMOST posted "the need for speed" line on the last Top Gun meme!

I might submit this one. If it's not too much Top Gun for 1 week.

Some do events for just a weekend, while others do it for 5 days instead of a full week. Decide if you want to do it on your own, or if you want to ask someone to co-host. When you host a week you are responsible for up voting and commenting on all of the participating memes. That's the challenging part. This week has had me very busy. LOL

I have seen some theme weeks be a little less intense. Me and the Boys was already a popular template so that may be why the theme week did so well. But really you never know how well one will do until you do it. Maybe do it just for a few days. That way if it's crazy you only have a few days to endure it.

I feel like Me and the Boys is really low hanging fruit. I mean you can take almost any quote that includes the word me and turn it into Me and the Boys. Same with pictures of any group of men.

It can be applied in so many ways, the caption itself has become more of a meme that the original template. We were thinking people were sick of Me and the Boys in general, and wasn't expecting this much participation. We're glad to see people having fun with it.
