Gotta make sure no stubborn crumbs are left behind!

I went to an old couple’s house for dinner and noticed there was still a few specks of dried food or grease on them. They shrugged and said that’s as clean as cold water can get them. At the end of supper they put the dishes on the kitchen floor. Then they said, “Cokd Water! Come here, girl”. A big mutt came running from nowhere and licked the dishes. I never went back for dinner again.

I had a pitt bull growing up and me and my friends were playing nintendo and my dog was cleaning his balls, anyhoo a few minutes after he went on a licking spree on my friend, he was a big heavy dog and he managed to get a slurp in my buddies mouth LOL! you could hear his tongue slap the roof of his mouth!! My buddy was laughing that much he was getting weaker and my dog was licking him more thinking he was enjoying it!

I have been known to put away a bunch of dirty dishes and not realize my error until I ran across one with food stuck on it.

If the light bulb burns out .....

The only trouble is , if it gets opened and not closed completely before the dry cycle is done then gets unloaded and reloaded and someone closes it, the light will be on but it will be full of dirty dishes.

Murphy’s Law always applies in the kitchen

We have one of these on our dishwasher lol.

I tend to have a routine. I run the dishwasher at night after dinner, then in the morning unload it and reload it as we dirty dishes in the day. If this routine stays put it's not an issue, but say I don't run it at night for some reason, it will throw off the next day.

Beats having people always spinning the magnet so I never know what's what. LOL

Installed new one in Fall. Never a peep about dishwasher loading ever again.

I’ve seen a lot of gross things with no reaction, but I get a little gag reflect every time I catch her doing that.

That bugs me unless the dishes get a trip through the dishwasher after!
