The storyline for these games were also taken more seriously than many games today... Legend of Spyro and Pokemon MD Explorers of Time/Darkness/the Sky actually had emotional meaning.

I can tick off at least 3 games I played as a child which was 6yrs ago

I did not play fortnite I had a great childhood

I played minecraft and pikmin

I played tons of Minecraft and Mario Kart back in my childhood
