Been almost struck twice, not giving it a third time to get me

It has been raining here lots this year. My lawn is beautiful, but I am getting tired of mowing it.

Hasn’t rained much here recently, but I just got done working seven days in a row and hadn’t had time. So I get out with my battery powered mower I use in areas my rider can’t go and it starts raining.

I go inside and grab my rain gear and head back out to weed whack. It stops raining. I take my gear off as it is brutal hot and now humid. Finish with the weed eater and it starts raining again.

I go inside and get a drink and see the rain stopped again. It has never been much and I figure it’s time to fire up the rider. I opened the door and boom! I don’t trust lighting and closed the door. It will now be Saturday before I might try again.

At least my mower has a powerful engine and I cut cut through some pretty tall grass.
