Are you all alright..... Severe thunderstorms, hurricanes, and tornado's...that sounds like torture....

Right now, I'm dealing with torrential rain! Possible street flooding, but it should finally end tonight. Tomorrow begins a dry weather trend that's supposed to last until some time next week. Thanks for your concern. I appreciate it

And don't melt to death during the dry weather trends, that sounds horrible....

I rent an apartment in a housing complex.

As for moving, I don't plan on leaving this immediate area anytime soon. If at all. My mother is 76, and I love the fact that she lives only 14 miles away

Actually no. In fact, she got on my case last night because I hardly ever call her. LOL

And the only reason I called her last night was to make sure she was okay because of the bad weather!

Lol my great grandmother is always talking about being alone, even though she has visitors twice a day....but why do you want to be so close to her if you aren't that close. I mean being closed and being able to visit is nice...... You must really care about her, and worry for her....

Because I don't know how much longer she will be here in this world.

She's in pretty decent health, but still. Things happen!

I used to watch the weather and pray all day the thing would just do a u turn! Thankfully we never got hit when we lived there, though right after we moved they got slammed and flooded the area we used to live in! The same thing happened when we left South Carolina! Talk about narrow escapes!
