Man, I really do despise so much of what is on tv. I miss the old days when shows were good.

And Friends, and stuff such as. I never watched the Walker Texas Ranger thing.

"Friends" was certainly FUNNY, but it was a bit too raunchy in places for my taste

And there are too many "in-between" shots where the Twin Towers are shown still standing! Freaks me out

That Twin Towers thing feels a little eerie to see!

You know, I think the way I grew up maybe desensitized me to certain things. I have my limits of course, I mean, it's not an ANYTHING goes type of tolerance that I have. But I think I just have seen and heard so much of certain things in my life that I can over look a whole lot. I also can't claim total purity in this website. I mean, I take a stroll through the gutter now and then.

I know what you mean. The news at times can be SO ASTRONOMICALLY horrific!

You know what I don't get about society at times?

CRUELTY!

Whether it be to babies, old folks, mentally challenged, siblings, fellow pupils, teenage girls, animals, or even bugs! What the heck is it with humans and being cruel to others??

I tell you what... when these videos of people being abused surface it just kills me. There was one with this 80+ year old ma, his "care giver" was caught on video slapping and punching him all through the day. His daughter would be at work and come home, and one day decided to check the footage. Geesh... that poor man had Alzheimer's and was bed ridden.

I am scared to leave any relative with strangers. I never left my children with babysitters or in a day care. I stayed home with them, I took them everywhere I went, never just dropped them off anywhere. Now they go to church and do things there. When my grandmother was on her death bed I went to care for her. We didn't want to risk putting her in a home or having strangers come in to care for her. People really have no heart and will hurt the most helpless of people.
