Not true, even without calves, cows produce milk and must be milked every day.

Actually, having lived in the prairies for the past 20 yrs, and being on the family farm in my childhood, damn near every child growing up on a farm has had the joy of the 5 am milking session. I have had friends and clients who own dairy farms and also a former boss and friend who has bin designing dairy barns and dairy operations for the past 40 yrs. I've even seen some of the most modern and efficient automated turntable operations in exhistance, the unfortunate part of the new large dairy operations is the minimal staff needed to operate and maintain, whereas even the smaller dairy operations of say 50 to 100 head cattle barns still only need about 5-6 staff members. Admitedly, I don't know everything about the dairy industry, but I know that when it comes to Canadian dairy producers, they care very much for their cattle and their products, and if your lucky enough to know any, getting fresh milk before processing was a huuuuuuge bonus, absolutly love fresh milk.

What about goat milk, or Pelor forbid human milk? Or after the calf gets to weaning age?

Also it is best for the calf to let it have the first milk that is different and not so good for people drinking.

Goats go through exactly what cows go through in the dairy industry: forced impregnation, having their children ripped away from them, constant painful milking and they're killed when they can't produce milk any more.
Whilst some farms give the calves the first milk, this is not with the animals in mind: it's just to get the milk flowing so that they can then rip the calf away and sell the calf's milk for profit.
No animal milk is ever good for people to drink. It's for baby animals, not humans.
It results in the growth of cancerous cells in humans, contributes to the top killers of humans, type 2 diabetes, heart disease and cancer and is full of blood, pus and hormones.

You sound very uninformed about the dairy industry and must be some sort of vegan. Dairy cattle need only to calve once in order to start producing milk, and they are not ripped from the mother as you say. Like I said above, Canadian dairy producers care very much for their cattle and products and the cows live long happy lives in pasture and recieve the best care going for animals, and Canadian producers do not use the steroid or hormone or any antibiotic injections that are used in the US, which was a large part of the fight with the new NAFTA agreement in that we do not want to import your US milk, however we do have a couple of your brands on store shelves, but I buy local.

Yes, I am vegan.
Dairy cows need to calf more than once in order to be able to produce milk. They produce milk for about 10 months and are then impregnated (raped) again. What proof is there that they're not ripped away from their mother? I'm a vegan activist and have seen plenty of footage of calves being ripped away from their mother and abused. Even on the few farms where they don't do this, or where they separate them at 18 months, for example, is it still moral to take the milk made for the calves? Is it morally justifiable just because they've been taken at a later stage? Would we justify doing this to humans?
"Canadian dairy producers care very much for their cattle and products and the cows live long and happy lives..." - If canadian dairy producers care very much for the cows, why do they exploit them, take their children and send them to slaughter? Is it morally justifiable to needlessly kill someone?
"... and products..." - There we go. They do not care about them as the sentient beings who they are.
"... and the cows live long and happy lives..." - Most dairy cows live until about 6 or 7, at which point peak milk production declines. Again, they're just treated as machines and products. What if we were to be seen just as machines and products and were killed for profit when we were no longer deemed "useful"? How would we feel if we had our right to life valued based on whether or not we could produce things and whether or not we were deemed "useful"?
"... but I buy local..." - From the animal's perspective, does this make a difference? Do animals from nearby farms have any less feelings than animals on factory farms? Do they not still go to the slaughterhouse? What if animals were to say "But I only buy local humans"?

Thete is no reasoning with a vegan.

Maybe people should raise animals themselves for milk like the milk I got as a baby as I was allergic to formula. Most of your complaint are about the industrial production of milk, and do not apply to personal production. And don't forget babies like me that couldn't get milk from formula and needed goat milk to live.
