I'm not suggesting abolishing, but whenever the concept of resposible gun laws comes up, the right tend to stick to the second ammendment to not be infringed upon, ergo, your statement of immigration laws and how times have changed since the 1800's so goes the need for more resposible gun legislation, for a document that was written during the times of muskets.
