She claimed that a migrant said she asked for water and was told to get a drink from the toilet. AOC made it sound like the woman was being treated like a dog, forced to drink filthy water.. But the reality is federal facilities typically install sink and toilet combos (which means you can get clean drinking water straight out of the sink faucet). They are less expensive for the taxpayers and are perfectly sanitary - but of course, this fact doesn't make for splashy politicized headlines.
