Have you tried changing your email address? Also when you do that select to verify the email, and then you have to hit update at the bottom otherwise you will not make any change. If you have done all of that before, maybe try again? This is why we should get one chance to change our usernames.

I saw this a while back and have been meaning to make a suggestion. Not sure exactly what the issue is or if my suggestion will work, might be worth a try though.

If you can log into an Imgflip account with zero submissions that uses your correct email address as you describe, maybe delete that Imgflip account if you dont need it.

After that account is gone, you should be able to update this account with your correct email address and send the verification email.
