Stomped outta there without a single item I went in for! The bastids!

I only had time to go to the laundry detergent. I put my phone in my purse and stopped to check the sale. Next thing you know the lady was demanding to know what I put in my purse. SMH...

It was a first for me.

I know there's cameras everywhere and I wonder if that could happen to me because sometimes I'll just walk around and put my hands in my pockets.

I am always taking my phone or note pad out of my purse. Found out today that the lady who confronted me was the friggin store manager! I told them she needs to learn to check security footage before putting a bee in someone's bonnet.

That lady followed me all around the store and I still don't know why.

I think she learned not to do that to me. It got pretty ugly once I realized she was accusing me.

I bet you did! I would've stood up to that bullshit as well!

It was humiliating for sure. I have never in my life had this happen in any store. Found out it was the store manager later. You would think that as the store manager she would know to check her security footage first. Makes me want to never shop there again.

Yeah, I'm actually quote surprised that she would do that, considering many managers like to keep up an image of having good customer service at their store.

Not at Publix apparently! I have worked in a lot of customer service jobs, and they always trained us against doing that sort of thing.

What?! They're supposed to be the nicest managers!

Right? Hence my shock.
