Well, I searched this toad in a hole thing. I don't think I am interested. English version of pigs in a blanket I guess! LOL! Nothing like what Neo shared! But again he is my wild one! LOL
I usually get good results. One trick is to poke a hole in them immediately when they come out of the oven. The steam escapes that way, so they don't get all soft and cave in.
These are Yorkshire pudding. Cooked with sausage is toad in the hole. I think they're usually cooked in a flat pan, but Neo, of course, would use a pic that looks like... you know lol.
I have never done them with sausage. I have done cheese or garlic butter.
I figured Neo was spicing it up! LOL! He's always out side the box bringing the good stuff!
So I've seen lol. My mom used to make Paska (Easter bread). She'd usually have extra dough so she'd grab a tin can and bake it. When it rose it would overflow. Finished it looked like a p**is. Never said anything.
