I'm glad someone explained to you what YOU clearly didn't understand. The parade application in Chicago was 100% a troll. There was never going to be any "Straight pride parade". The point was that 2019 liberal hypocrisy has replaced 1950's conservative hypocrisy. Equality means everyone gets a parade. Clearly that is not the case. The argument from the LGBT community was...in a word..."Heterophobic".

You don't need to earn it, you can have one under the principle of equal protection. And the thing is basically a trollish parody that invoked massive hate from some of those that scream tolerance, which seems to be the point of it.

Or they poking at the phonies that are not for tolerance and use grievance culture as a weapon against others. Things type of thing generally are good at bringing out the extremists and shinning a spot light on them.
