Michael Cutter is my favorite character in the entire Law and Order franchise. More than Benson , more than Robert Goren , more than Lenny Brisco. I think Cutter showed more integrity and conviction than any other character in the whole series. He was compassionate many times and truly looked out for victims as well. There were times when he didn't go by the book and did questionable things to win cases like using Lieutenant Anita Van Buren's cancer in a trial but at the end of the day more than anyone his heart was in the right place and he is someone we should all aspire to be like. I love that he knew how bad the legal system is and did what it really took to get murderers off the street. He from the bottom of his heart cared about his job and knew what it really took to be a real hero.
