Okay so what if the universe was always here, everything was there, all the matter. So, God used the Big Bang (or some other method) to shape the matter all around into another form.

Sad thing is: that's all we can possibly have. Hypothesi(or however the plural goes). No concrete evidence on what really happened. The good thing is: we don't need it. Humans have always wondered about how the universe came to be. But even if we do find out how it was created, is that discovery all that important, useful or groundbreaking? My point is: does it matter if we know how was the Universe created or not? The important thing is that it exists, and that we also exist because the Universe exists.

People argue whether the Universe was created by God or by the Big Bang. And here I am, using the Law of Mass Conservation as a basis that the Universe was never created. It always existed. And it always will.

In it's current form, yeah, I agree. The Universe wasn't always like this. But to think that there was a time when there was absolutely nothing, and then out of nothing came everything, is just ridiculous.
