Seriously though, thank you for suggesting that Doris wouldn't be concerned with my misspelling of the song :-)

However, as a perfectionist, it really does matter to me. Unfortunately!

I wanna scream and tip the desk over when I realize that I've made a typo. UGH!

KIDDING! Lord knows I cannot judge a single misspelling or typo. I live in the biggest glass house of all.

No need to be. I'm pretty sure the original songwriters misspelled it, too (if it's from Italian, I believe the right way to spell it is "che" not "que").

I swear I remember it being spelled Ca Sera Sera

But I Googled it, and Que is the only way I've seen it spelled

That's all I found too.

Apparently the songwriters took an Italian expression, but switched it from "che" to "que" because more people in the US speak Spanish. And then now since the song was popular, that's the spelling people accept.

I'm not sure where you would have seen "Ca" but maybe you were watching The Man Who Knew Too Much with subtitles in another language that spells it like that? I don't know what that could be though.

Apparently she turned down the role as the mom in "The Graduate".
She didn't want to diminish her "good girl" image.

There are enough actresses out there who aren't concerned about PR
