You cant "end" gun violence

only deter mass amounts of it through allowing a fully armed populace.

at least the government of America is tryimng to prevent it

the government only does what IT wants.

If it doesnt benefit them in any way they will fight it. Gun control however, is in fact a blessing to the bureaucrats. An unarmed populace is easier to control.
