Whatever it takes

Not that I love 'Avatar' but even if 'Endgame' does beat it, something else will just come along and beat 'Endgame' later. It seems like the word "need" is too strong for something ultimately that pointless.

Can't think of any other word to replace "need" though. Have any suggestions?

"Someone will" is also a strong statement. It's a monumental task beating that record. I agree someone eventually will, but I think what the op is saying is that the movie is better than Avatar, which I agree. Except for the cool 3D technology, Avatar's not that great a movie, for it to have number #1 box office is kinda sad
