How is that quote a antagonizing prejudice with the belief that one race is superior to another? You know, the very definition of racism.

I really don't understand why this needs to be explained because it is pretty apparent from the quote and the video. Okay, so in her racist statement, it is antagonizing prejudice towards white people. And the definition you put down is not the only definition of racism. Go look them up. Additionally, for many years we have not been a country of white people, so to say that is completely unnecessary and just shows her racial bias

Except she isn't showing racial bias at all in her ENTIRE quote, which you failed to post. Omar is saying this is going to be the country of the many, which Includes white people. If Omar was antagonizing and showing prejudice she'd say "the many except white people" which was not said.

You're cherry picking her quote to justify your belief that she is racist, but it's only making it loud and clear that you just don't like Omar and are trying to justify it with your fallacy.

Not playing this game. Read the quote and if you can't figure it out then that's your problem.

Well the quote says something that's completely compatible with not-racism because America isn't supposed to be earmarked for any particular racial majority, so, if you won't elaborate then that's that I suppose.

Then I guess we can insert any other color in there and it wont be racist either. Yeah, that's logical. And I shouldn't have to "elaborate" because in or out of context it is still racist. If it had "black" in there. If it had "yellow" in there. If it had "brown" in there. It is still racist

I guess Mandela is a huge racist too. Next time you want to race bait, don't cherry pick quotes.

Do words confuse you? Mandela’s statement was inclusive. Omar’s statement was exclusive and she specifically targeted only one race, which was whites, in her statement.

Omar was not preaching exclusivity in the least. You're biased hatred of Omar is making a distorted interpretation of something that obviously states that this country is for diversity, not singularity, in race and religions.

She is saying this the country is for the many, not the many "except" white people. You're still cherry picking to try and race bait. But nice try.

If she was saying this country if for the many, then why not just leave it at that? Why did she say "white"? Did she have to say that? If so, why? Including "white people" in the statement was completely unnecessary. So why do it?

She also said “not for the few”. Should black people and Mexicans be offended too?

If she had included them in her statement, then, yes!

“The many” infers many races. Not seeing any other races triggered on a statement that wasn’t racist in the least

You didn't answer my question? Why did she have to say "white people" when it was not necessary?
[deleted]

Probably because when our country first began it WAS the country of white people and evolved into the country of many.

Perhaps she’s saying she doesn’t want the country to be that again. Just a thought.

Was what she said racial in any way?

I think, speaking broadly, she was stating this is the country of all races. Expressing it was no longer the country as it was founded, all white. Nor is it the country that existed after black slaves were free and became legal citizens. The U.S. has become a country that has all races, religions, cultures and credos.

At least that’s how I see it.

She just spoke in a poorly worded manner. And this isn’t the only time she has done so as I’m sure you’ve seen in her numerous crap speeches.

I think she needs to practice her speeches because she really sucks speaking on the fly and as a result it is easy to misinterpret her words.

Well then she needs to write down her speeches and read from them. If she hasn't learned that yet then we can only infer that she truly is a racialist at best and racist at worst. Otherwise, you, me or anybody else should be able to say "This is not going to be the country of black people" and not have it be called out as racist.

I think we can both agree she sucks at speeches

Well the verdict is still out on whether it's just that she sucks at speeches or truly is a racist. If she doesn't learn from these things and change how she presents, then one can only assume the latter.
