Yeah and they always get revenge. It's too coincidental that they just happen to "accidentally" poop over the side of the box right after you mop the floor or hack up hairballs right after you run the sweeper. I Kid you not every single time. Friend of mine got a cat not too long ago and gave her a bath soon after. The look on her face afterwards told me revenge was coming. 3 weeks later she spilled a glass of milk on his gaming laptop and fried the cpu. Their discipline to use mere human slaves can be brutal. Those gaming laptops are over $1000 bucks. He got another but wow. I warned him about cat discipline. I have 3. He's spoiling her rotten by building her a hotel out of boxes. Haha like me he enjoys feline tyranny. One of mine is a Turkish Angora and they're the kings or queens of tyranny in cats.

That story's actually really relatable, sometimes i wonder if they really CAN make out what we're saying when we call them annoying for "accidentally" (as you said lol) claw us while trying to jump off of our laps and/or if all those hairballs aren't really unintentional. Another crazy and yet brutal thing that they happen to do is "refusing" to let you pet them or to interact with you if you accidentally step on their tail(s) during the night, because to be honest, if I were a cat, it probably wouldn't make sense that a human couldn't see that you were sitting RIGHT THERE in the doorway and then step on you to top it all off. A cat's "discipline" is brutal, but you just gotta love them for it (even though you may have scars to show for it. :,-)

The one cat we had that sadly died of renal failure in 2016 at age 16 liked running out the front door which is thankfully in a hotel setup apartment place where apartments are on inside with Halas. Well he ran out in front of my mom and she tripped over him and because he was fat in 2013 her ankle snapped diagonally and she needed surgery. He knew he caused her injury and ran and hid and never ran out in front of us again. She had to have ice in a cooler with a hose attached on her leg for a week or two so she had to put her leg on a scooter to go to bathroom. Jerk Angora ran out in front of her and laid down in hall so she couldn't get by him. Manipulate prick trying to get stuff he wants by tyranny which is normal behavior for looney toon Angoras.
