I get what you're trying to say. And I also think that it is a good idea for people to focus a bit of their wealth on one thing that all of them will need, like roads, public service buildings (hospitals, firefighter stations etc). My problem with the taxation is where does the money go. Not to directly fund whatever project is needed. It goes to the government. Every war any government fought, every genocidedemocideethnic cleansing any tyrannical regime comitted, every authoritarian reducement of freedom by increasing surveillance and amounts of law enforcement, as well as laws which prohibit citizens from owning any type of a firearm (or even worse, any form of weapon at all) was done with the taxpayer money. How many taxpayers ever wanted any of what I've mentioned? None. I guarantee it. And yet, if they don't pay up their taxes, it's off to jail for 'tax cheating'. Or at best, to another country to pay THAT country's taxes.
About the taxation being proportional with the amount of wealth the taxpayer possesses, I see that mentality ALL the time. Sad thing is, that's the problem. This will explain in greater detail: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CL_4VRMZqF0
And just one more link for taxation in general: https://youtu.be/47CPi_66gdw
Nah, I understand. Personally, I try avoid being vague because it created many problems for me via misunderstanding by the other party + I find it fun to type great walls of text, especially if the wall is a hard-to-swallow, redpill truthbomb. Sad thing is, poeple often still don't understand you even if you're 100% clear and have concrete evidence for support.
