Yup, I see many memes become so popular, when they're actually reposts, and I'm the only one who knows. It's even sadder when you know that very often the original meme was unappreciated and forgotten, and then suddenly someone else steals all the glory... Cheers.

Makes it worse when you post something that you personally had never seen before (and thought it was clever and funny), and have the mods send you a polite silicon raspberry in your notifications that it had been "done a million times" and your meme was therefore "unfeatured".
