It doesn't depend. We live in a world where those with power always have more control and sway than those who do not have power. And these differences in power are almost always determined by factors such as race, class and religion. This has been the course of human history since the start and continues to be a challenge to this day.

well everyone has natural privelages based in biology,

for example some people have the privilege to spend more time out in the sun cause their skin is darker or lighter

however; privilege as we hear it is based in societal issues, and law.

for example, minorities have Affirmative action, this is a law based privilege

whites have the privilege to be the majority racial wise due to heritage and migration
(societal)

Affirmative Action is in place to help underprivileged people (in this case, African Americans) so that they actually have a fair shot. Affirmative Action doesn't add privilege, but rather ensures equal opportuntiy amongst disadvantaged people.

Privilege in terms of biology is not what I am discussing here. This wouldn't be in the Politics section if it were.

Then why not grant ppl on poverty level vs skin color. If they happen to be black/white what ever, so be it ,but any application that ask "race' is literally Racist

african american kids who do well in school cannot use affirmative action, so technically your giving kids who dont want to learn a better chance then those who do want to.

1) if you want fairness and equality, we have this thing called "meritocracy"

2) giving people free passes to higher grades and education can lead to some stupid people getting their hands on high paying jobs they know nothing about.

3) your disadvantaging the people who work hard in school, so your actually shitting on those who try their hardest and telling them their work means nothing

That's why I seed it depends. Now you could argue that different interests lead to different privileges because different career paths will help you more in the long run.

This is also not what I am referring to. I am discussing this from a perspective of social justice and politics.

Let's also not forget that the most disadvantaged of people often are unable to secure employment and education that would actually benefit them in the long run, which is why Affirmative Action exists in the first place.
