I usually draw people in anime style now so I don't have to worry about getting everything exactly proportionate.

Just use round stubs for hands until you're able to draw fingers. That's how I did it.

Speaking of which, I actually do have a character with only one eye, but he has an eye patch over his missing eye.

So, about those comics you plan on making. What's the plot for it and what are the characters? I'm curious.

The comics? For img flip, you mean? They're just going to be a collection of random jokes. Other than those, I am planning on making a comic that takes place in a world that's inhabited by living teddy bears. The main characters are Gilbert, a gold bear who is extremely optimistic and naive, and Sullivan, who is kind of like an emo teddy bear version of Rick from Rick and Morty, only he's not nearly as intelligent.

If you don't know what a straightman character is, it's basically a serious sidekick to a rather not-so-serious person.

I would tell you the plot for a story I'm making, but it's still a WIP and describing what I have so far would be too hard to describe. :P
