Is it because it's so difficult to understand what the defense does?

I love defense . 100 pt NFL games and 260 pt NBA games ...really? I say go learn the game fundamentals showboat ! :)

You will find that most people over 45 feel the same. Younger people were raised on ball hogs and video games. I suspect (also) that you have PLAYED ball and actually know the rules. :)

Well, I've only started watching football two years ago and I've tried out for my local team but then got sick so I haven't actually played... But I just enjoy getting in way too deep on the rules and the very technical plays and all that. And usually when I'm new to something I spent way too much time trying to know everything there is... XD
