I think it's worse these days, because in my day if your parents found out you were acting a fool there were consequences. NOt so much any more. There is a terrible, "My baby didn't do that" syndrome going around.

You are a smart cookie, that is true however even back when every parent wants to believe their kid is innocent, mine however I know have a sense of sneaky evil to them, after all they are my kids. I tell my kids I don't care about their grades, I only care about them protecting themselves and others who can't. I make sure they don't steal, don't cheat, and don't start fights, but if they get into a fight they finish it. I am stern with them if they do misbehave and they aren't allowed to use electronics when they come to visit. I believe face to face contact is more important than fake friends online, not that I am against meeting people but online or texting friends is cyber stuff not real contact. What where we talking about?lol

I homeschool my kids.They do spend a good bit of time with other kids though. I kind of wonder if my experiences growing up had been better wether I would still feel like I needed to homeschool.

Home School children as long as you occasionally socialize them with other children are smarter, safer, and more advanced in every aspect of life. KUDOS
I don't have control of two of my children but my youngest I do but he needs school because he is special needs. Let's face it the school system is socialism and they don't care about our children in the real world. Do you have any other social account(Not facebook), like tumblr or something so we can talk more? The school system is just that a system it is not meant to teach our children(aside from the special education program which is great where I live anyways, hell my son asks if he can go to school).l

The only such account I had was Facebook, and that went out the window. That is quite a place. Other than that this is all I have socially as far as internet goes.
