Why don't they just move on

Conservatives only blame socialism when something that goes opposite their ideology happens( for example a liberal politician wins) because the democrats are the socialist party. So you aren't far from the truth cause when conservatives don't get what they wanted in the first place than they blame the socialists because usually they are the ones that caused that
