Maybe interact more or just read through comments. I don't copy what I see in comments, but sometimes someone says something to make me get a good idea.
Also, when a good idea hits you write it down somewhere. I have a little spiral notebook that I use. Otherwise a great idea comes and goes before I can act on it.
