This is my absolute favourite effort in paint.net. I messed about with light/contrast/hue/saturation for ages trying to get spongebob look like he was under water, but he just looked like he was stuck on top of the image.

eventually, i stuck an extra layer on top of him ( i think i coloured it from the main pic!?), cropped it around him and then played about with the layer transparency!

thats a good job man looks great!
