Nothing; I'd just like it to be effective, which this isn't. I'd also prefer my fellow citizens not to be fleeced by a known charlatan in pursuit of an unattainable goal. What is it exactly that you have against the American public not being fleeced?

$5bn is quite attainable. Your fellow citizens want border security. Barriers are effective.
No, $5B is only for FY2019; the final price tag will be $21-$70B. And, in fact, all current polling shows that the majority of my fellow citizens want border security but NOT a wall. So, nice try, but no.

The grifter who set it up (https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/behind-viral-gofundthewall-fundraiser-rising-conservative-star-shadowy-email-harvesting-n957896) changed his statements multiple times, so GoFundMe shut it down and is refunding everyone (https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/424976-20-million-raised-in-gofundme-for-trump-border-wall-will-be-refunded).
I am also personally rather fond of the factlet that between last summer's fundraiser and last month's "Ladder to Get Over the Wall" fundraiser, this thing fell short of donations to RAICES. and the immigrants and refugees it serves by about $2 million.

Okaaay... and why are you talking to me about a gofundme campaign?
The wall and legal immigration are completely unrelated so I'm not sure why you think that "factlet" is relevant.

"Apprehensions are a proxy for illegal entry." hahah that's retarded. Try to think for yourself instead. 13% of crime is committed by illegal immigrants. That's HUGELY disproportional to their population. Most of that crime is along the southern borders of Texas, Arizona, and California.
You're clearly just playing along with your party. Your loyalty is admirable but your retardation is tiresome. Adieu
Because the now-failed GoFundMe campaign is the topic of my pie charts. If you want to talk about something else, go make an image of your own and wait for people to come talk to you about it.

oh yeah, you're the one who thinks walls don't work hahah
Some walls work; some don't. This one won't (and, in any case, the southern border is not the source of the majority of undocumented residents, who arrive by plane on tourist visas and then never leave, so even if a wall worked it would do nothing to stop them). Logic would suggest that people who cross the border illegally are more of a threat. Crime by illegal immigrants is higher around the border. People who are overstaying legal residence would be less of a threat, too, since they've already been pre-screened. Border crossers are completely unvetted. Use logic. Walls work. Deterrents work.
You are also making the 100% argument. "It won't fix all of it so why try". Retard. You cite the opinion of a part-time professor from a sub-par university with only a Master's Degree whereas the President has his pick of engineers and border patrol officials and landowners. Retard.
