Tanuki is a common Yo-kai in japan. it literally in the name says raccoon dog

yeah but the crazy-ass peta thinks he skins them alive

but it was just made of fabric

thats why. peta acts like hes some sort of illegal trapper or skinner

hm... ok then. also Tannuki are pests sometimes and they live among people and plus they have huge magic ballsacks

yeah but they kill them alot thats the problem

yea. and the only thing to let the tanuki's guard down is alcohol

that is not a real yokai. but think about jibanyan, he is a real yokai called a nekomata
