U.S taxpayers are still paying for it, that’s you, that’s me, that’s all Americans, I remember when Republicans were the ones that wanted less taxes as well.

Trump lowered taxes and paying for the wall isn't going to increase anybody's taxes. I would much rather have my tax dollars go to preventing illegal immigration than paying to care for illegal immigrants. One is a one time purchase, the other is a yearly payment that has been increasing every year.
The military budget has already been approved. They can spare 5 billion from the 720 billion they received. I'm sure that was already calculated into the equation.
