No, but I have consistently raised considerably more than 0.085% of the necessary funds for my causes, helping friends to make their mortgage and rent and student loan payments and keeping working poor families fed and housed, so I'm pretty content with my fundraising track record. But if I ever fail to raise even one tenth of one percent of the necessary funds, I'll be sure to let you know.

if you set the goal for 1 billion dollars you probably wouldn't do better

I wouldn't do that because it's a stupid goal. That's the point of this entire exercise, to instill in the innumerate at least a particle of a clue that their goal is both unattainable and meaningless--as of this morning they're still 98.4% shy of their goal, which is itself barely 5% of the lowest possible estimated final price tag.

(It's also, incidentally, still a million and a half shy of the amount raised for RAICES last summer, which I shared and amplified and to which I contributed my widow's mite, so I guess I can legitimately claim to have been part of raising 20 million dollars for a cause I believe in!)
