His way is too accept the information given to him by others, my way is to verify the information using scientific method (repeatable experiments) and objective observation (if possible).

Not making myself clear I guess. Many experiments (which I don't need to list here, but can be found on your own) can tell you the earth is not a globe. There is no way to verify what the shape definitely is.

The size and shape of the earth are a mystery. Any real scientist knows this, but they will not tell you because there is no benefit. The benefit comes from keeping idiots in the dark, where they can be controlled. If you don't agree or understand, its OK.

My question was if the round earth was made to draw People away from the Abrahamic faiths it wouldn't make any sense because the planets shape was discovered before. Now the shape of the earth doesn't need to be seen to be believed because you can use experiments to do so.

What experiments prove the shape of the earth to be flat?
