Once more, read it slowly and take your time. Stopping some crime, does not mean we stopped all crime. Your argument is "look we have some success with border security, let's stop trying!" That's asinine.

it is ironic that Mitch quoted facts of how many people / how much drugs we stopped from crossing the border... which we successfully did without a wall... to justify that we -need- a wall. it is ironic that he is proving we do a good job without a wall when he says we -need- one. i was just pointing out the irony. could a wall make the job easier? is the wall worth $15 to $30 billion total? is part of a wall worth shutting down part of the government and not paying employees over the holidays? I did not try to answer any of these questions. just pointing out some random irony.
