Do you have a 401k? But even if you don't here is why you want a good stock market....It is a barometer of the economy. Those performance figures I gave are easily verifiable facts.

No i dont have a 401k, i deal in trash, dont really matter what the economy dose. You want good investment advice, invest in things folks can't do without, like water, trash, or food. Theres always cemeteries, folks are dying to get in there. ;)

You should still want a good economy and thus a good stock market. They will benefit you in ways you can't possibly conceive.

A good stock market means a good economy. While you think your job is safe from economic downturns most aren't. Is your whole family in those type jobs? How bout your neighbors? Think more than just about your lot in life.

I am different. I am retired so a bad economy isn't fatal to me either but I still want a good economy for my family friends and neighbors and small business people who will lose their life savings if their business fails through no fault of their own.
