Canadian bacon is not ham, its pig.

It takes up to 10 hours to make ham but it takes 3 days to prepare bacon to finally make it to the stores or sometimes on your plate ham only takes about less than an hour since it's just a plain cut while bacon is measured and bathed in different liquids (if it's special bacon)

Ham by any other name still tastes the same!
